My journey from a technical draftsman to a professional photographer
🚀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝘆 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀: My journey from a technical draftsman to a professional photographer and what I’ve learned along the way.
I moved from Paris to Zurich when I was 14. A few years later, I started a 4-year apprenticeship as a technical draftsman and then got my first job at ABB, which is today one of my biggest clients working as a photographer. 🙏🏼
Later, my desire to travel the world took me on a transformative 6-month journey through Asia and Australia. My passion for photography began during this time.
Upon returning to Zurich, I took the opportunity to work as an assistant to a commercial photographer for over a year. This experience taught me not only a lot about photography in the commercial world but also about the complexities of running a business.
After freelancing as a photo assistant for different photographers in Zurich, I founded my own company PhotoPulse GmbH 25 years ago. Today, I specialize in corporate, commercial and adventure photography.
